Fix-Ups

Toothache? Missing a tooth? We're here to help!

At Eid Dental Clinic, we are happy to offer all our patients peace of mind through our extensive health and safety measures, including newly updated COVID-19 precautions.

In addition to hygiene, we have access to all the dental tools we need to help keep your smile fun and fresh! We’ve modelled our London dental practice after the German-engineered Teneo approach. This ensures each of our treatment centres is equipped to make patients of all ages feel comfortable and at ease no matter the procedure!

What We Offer

During the root canal procedure, we will remove diseased blood vessels, nerves and tissues from the interior of a tooth. By removing the decay and bacteria, we can help to halt the spread of infection and preserve the tooth.

Dental implants can be an effective alternative to bridges or dentures. A dental implant is a tiny titanium screw which is used to replace the root of the natural tooth or series of teeth. They are surgically placed into the jaw bone, they then bond with the natural bone to serve as an anchor for a tooth replacement. There are many benefits to dental implants including preventing surrounding teeth from shifting, resolving bite issues or jaw joint pain and restoring facial tissues and appearance. Dental implants are typically conducted over two procedures to allow the implant time to bond to the bone and attach to the gum.

Sometimes called “getting a tooth pulled,” this procedure isn’t as scary as it may sound! If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with simpler, less-invasive methods first. This might be a filling, crown or other dental treatment. But when there’s too much damage for the tooth to be repaired, the tooth may need to be removed entirely.

Called a “simple extraction,” this procedure is performed on a tooth that can be seen coming out of the gum in the mouth. It’s common for a general dentist to perform simple extractions. During a simple extraction, your dentist will numb the tooth and gum tissue and loosen the tooth with an instrument called an elevator, before removing it with dental forceps.

Patient comfort is our top priority. This is why we offer our patients non-invasive options when it comes to dental sedation during a procedure. Options available to our patients include needle-less oral anaesthetics, and nitrous oxide (sometimes called “laughing gas”).

Needle-less (oral) anesthetics: Oral sedatives may be provided to you in the form of pills or liquids as prescribed by your dentist in advance of your dental appointment. Oral sedation produces a calming effect that will significantly relax you and allows you to remain awake for the procedure.

Nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”): Nitrous oxide is inhaled from a mask which is placed over your mouth and nose. The medication helps to calm and relax patients even though they typically remain awake and able to communicate. Nitrous oxide may help to lessen anxiety, increase pain threshold, reduce gag reflex and make time pass more quickly.
